At Mtalii Bush Camps, dining is an integral part of the luxury safari experience. Our main dining venue, Mwamba Restaurant, offers a diverse menu featuring international and local Kenyan cuisine. For lunch, expect prices to range from 2,500 KES to 5,000 KES ($20-$45 USD) per person for a main course and beverage. Dinner offers a more extensive a la carte or set menu selection, with prices for a multi-course meal typically falling between 5,000 KES and 9,000 KES ($40-$75 USD) per person. Our signature Cowboys Steakhouse offers premium cuts, with steak prices ranging from 4,000 KES to 8,000 KES ($35-$70 USD) depending on the cut and size.
Beverage Selection and Costs
Our beverage selection at Mtalii Bush Camps is extensive, complementing our culinary offerings. Soft drinks, juices, and local beers are generally priced between 300 KES and 600 KES ($2.50-$5 USD). Imported beers and a glass of house wine can range from 700 KES to 1,500 KES ($6-$12 USD). We also feature a curated list of South African and other international wines, with bottles starting from 6,000 KES ($50 USD) and going up to 30,000 KES ($250 USD) for premium selections. Specialty coffees and teas are available, with prices around 400 KES to 700 KES ($3-$6 USD). All prices are inclusive of applicable taxes and service charges.
Included Meals and Additional Services
For guests on our all-inclusive safari packages, breakfast, lunch, and dinner at Mwamba Restaurant are typically included, along with select house beverages. Specific inclusions are detailed in your package. Should you opt for bed and breakfast, or room only, our food and beverage costs are as outlined above. We also offer private dining experiences and bush breakfasts/dinners, which incur additional charges, often starting from 15,000 KES ($120 USD) per couple, depending on the location and menu.
